Hello Everyone,
On April 12, 2018, I made my monthly Mintos deposit of €300.00 which I invested in GetBucks and Mogo loans. Unfortunately, the Lendo cashback campaign had expired but that’s ok. Mogo extended its cashback campaign twice this month for 11 more days the first time and until May 16, 2018, the second, so I guess I will keep on buying those. The offer from GetBucks is only good until April 13, 2018.
I am extremely motivated to keep adding to my Mintos balance and keep growing my account.
In the meantime, Mintos keeps on adding new loan originators but right now I am focused in purchasing loans that qualify for cashback. That can be both a good and a bad thing. A good thing because it will drive competition between loan originators and drive up yields and a bad thing because the quality of those originators is largely unknown. I have faith in Mintos though that will be able to perform proper due diligence when listing loans from those originators.
On the following screenshot of my monthly account statement, you will be able to see all the details.
For the month of April 2018, I deposited €300.00 and the total return from cashback, interest, late fees and secondary market transactions was €76,22.
Also, this month I opened up an account with roboforex.com to get my feet wet with some automated forex trading. Let’s see how that goes.
Another thought is to buy a sailboat so I can rent it during and create some passive income for me as well. There are some options for some pretty generous government grands in that industry so if I am able to secure one for my self I will jump at the opportunity.
Until Next Time,
Peter
